Now the dark time of the year has begun, the mists rise in the early evening, leave late at daytime and somtimes turn into rain. Everywhere there is water and we too seem to swim in our feelings, which are also associated with this element. Water is a carrier of information, a perfect medium. The human body, all plants and animals consist of more than 80 percent of water. We carry the energies that suround us and impress us, the good and the bad. Masaru Emoto e.g. explained this phenomenon beautifully in his book „Message from the Water“. One can take that as an inspiration or not. But one thing is undeniable: the power of our thoughts. And just imagine: if it is possible to put thoughts into water, than this could be the perfect way to reach worldpeace…because water finds its way. So may have thought the author of the following prayer. Maybe it is helpfull to recite it while you are under the shower, washing your hands or preparing a tea. So we impregnate more and more water with loving thoughts and they are carried into the world. You know the saying that we can‘ t change the world but maybe this is only because we THINK we can‘ t….think about it…:-) 1.11.2015

A Full Moon Prayer For Peace

Let there be peace in the North.
Let there be peace in the South.
Let there be peace in the East.
Let there be peace in the West.
Let there be peace throughout the whole World.

Let this peace permeate and fill with protection the waters of this sacred Well. Let this peace enter and protect the waters of all the worlds holy wells. Whatever their countless names and countless deities honoured throughout time.
Let them combine in peace and protection here, now, calling on all the countless nameless ones to join together in this peace.

And let all these waters of peace and protection flow from their well through streams and lakes and rivers down to the seas and oceans of the world. And there let the moon, our Silver Lady in the sky, Earth‘ s timeless companion, work her magical tides. Tides whose ebb and flow will mix together all these holy waters of peace and protection.

And as our Silver Lady gently drives the tides so all the love and protection of the countless deities from time unknown through now to time yet to be will lap all the shores of the world. Like a great holy breath will the tides bless every land with peace and protection on and on.

And all the seas and oceans will mix these blessed waters which will rise in the air to bring rain. That rain will bring the blessing of peace and protection wherever it falls. And wherever it falls it will replenish the wells and streams and rivers and lakes. It will bless all the land it falls on and its wells will spread that blessing to every living creature, plant and organism that dwells upon and in these lands and seas and oceans.

Let there be peace and protection throughout the whole world.
Blessed Be.

The author is one of the companions of the Chalice Well in Glastonbury. I will put the Name later because I do not have it at hand yet.
